just out of curiosidy what would it take to set up a propane injection system on an old idi and how much wear and tear would it cause:humm:

yep, hard to set up correctly if you are building it yourself. ziggster is still running his setup, been that way for a few years now,

yeah...... wish there was a way to set it and forget it ....... never gonna happen though.... only in a perfect world..... could use a nitrous tank warmer though.... mire concistant bottle temp that way

Good article DC. Glad you asked aboit this idea HH. The Bully Dog kit might now be in my future. I just need more power when loaded. (The truck, not me.) This seems like it might fit the bill.

I would say a turbo is easier.

I would rather go with something part-time, I think. Old truck does fine when empty. I just need a little oomph going up hills with the horse, or hay trailer behind it. Thought this might be the ticket. But, I wanna keep my engine as simple, ie, reliable, as possible.
