1986 6.9 loss of power
 

hey everyone have a 86 with a 6.9 ats turbo 4spd, last couple days seems to have lost some power especially in third and fourth doesnt really want to go into higher rpms and tachs been jumping up and down any ideas what could be causing this it runs fine otherwise starts right up cold or hot also been smoking white smoke sometimes when taking foot off gas or when accelerating coolant level is fine and have nothing but oil in crankcase

Well glad to say it ended up just being the fuel filter. I just changed it like three months ago and didnt think that was it. Decided to try and now runs strong I saw someone had a post that they changed it with every oil change and I know that is what I am going to do for now on

yep, for the cost i always change mine every oil change.
