Default save yourself the headache

If ur vaccum pump or ur power steering pump happen to go up no big deal. To Take old ones off but do ir self a favor when pulling the old pulleys go to n parts store and get the special tool to pull them. Do not do it with conventional pullers the pulleys r thin n will bend. I spent three hours last night hearing n beating my vac pulley. and putting the pulley on the new pump uses Tue same tool. Or if ur a lil tool savy there are threads in the center of the shaft of the pumps a bolt with the correct threads and a couple of washers on top the pulley just start the bolt and hit it with an impact gun a little bit at a time. Don't go hogwild as ull mess up the threads they r weak. But if u take ur time ull b fine. For the record there r no bolts that hold pulleys on pumps. Theu r just pressed on. Also these pulleys r. Junk yard part. If u happen to bend ur old one. U can get new ones from ford but they want like 60 bucks for. One. So while its not a hard job to do its also not hard to mess stuff. Up. Also do not use a vice or press to put new pulleys on ull press the shaft of the pump out the back of the pump as tjhey r weak parts. So take ir time and keep that coal Rollin.
