Looking for some advice. 7.3idi runs but wont rev up above 1.8k in nuetral in drive wont go faster than 10 mph on level ground didn't smoke any more than normal. All fluids are good. Any help would be appreciated thanks

 

when u rev it up does it sound like it is breaking up?

 

No not really just chugs a little

 

sounds like either your lift pump is failing and not feeding enough fuel, or your sucking air somewhere.

The truck sat for a week and now went to start it temp. is 14 outside truck started right up runs fine no issues. Its been plugged in since last problem I posted. Any ideals to what's causing this would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Definantly air intrusion somewhere in the fuel system.
