where to install pyrometer probe on a na motor

where to install pyrometer probe on a na motor

Im wanting to know were I can install the probe on my 7.3 idi n/a?

driverside exhaust manifold. drill and tap it for the thermocoupler. inbetween the last 2 cyls.

Do you know what size tap I would need are all probes the same thanks for your help

most probes use a 1/8 inch pipe tap. some i seen use a 1.4 inch pipe tap. just got to see what the probe uses.
