Injection pump and injectors replacement

Im workin on the 92 in my sig and I was told by a older guy i know that worked for international when these engines came out, And he told me to order a injection pump for a manual even though mine is a automatic because the manuals were set for more power... He said that if i play with the fuel screw it would void the warrenty so to get the manual which is supposedly turned more. Is this true? Also where is a good place to buy from thats not gonna cost me a fortune? I know to get code bb injectors

oregon fuel injections sells good pumps. also since u are in ohio, look up northwest fuel injection service in columbus grove.

there is no difference between manual and auto pumps. a 7.3 pump will give little bit, and a 7.3 turbo pump will give little more. but nothing u will really notice.

Its nearly impossible for them to tell if you played with the torque screw and if something does happen set it back to stock. If they use paint, paint it again or similar. paint pens are cheaper than eating a pump. Not one for dependability but definitely inexpensive is pensacoladiesel. They have been doing well as of late but their overstock on the pumps enables them to sell turbo and nonturbo for the same price. if you buy a turbo for a nonturbo, you can turn the fuel down.

I was looking at goin through Pensacola diesel... Anyone have anything good or bad to say about them?

Local places want too much for injectors when i cant be sure if the engine is just wore out. Cant afford to have it in the shop again for them just to test stuff last time they cut my wiring all to hell and didnt do any of the work i wanted to it all at the nice price of $130a shop hour. Its had a set of heads replaced on it bc the previous owner overheated and cracked them. It has 207k miles on it I dont know if the injection system is goin bad or the engine is just wore out. It had a rebuilt injection pump sometime in its past but not sure when exactly. This seems like low miles to be wore out but i know it had a rough life with the previous owner

pensocola is a hit and miss. not many i have talked to had good dealings with them. shotty work, unfriendly customer service. i would try to advoid them if possible.

injectors and injection pump are only designed for around 100000 miles. less if the truck did alot of idling, never had additive in the fuel, had bad fuel.... ect.

A lot of guys i know have been going with pcola diesel and aside from bad clamps in the injector install kit, there hasnt been any bad feedback. Id go with them if it were me but then again, getting raped at the local places here isnt my idea of a good idea. I can buy two pcola diesel pumps for the price of one local one. three sets of injectors for the price of one local. You do the math. Just me but i would use your gut and if it is a ridiculous price, stay away.

Locally they want 65 each for the injectors and about 600 for a pump which im not paying that much for this truck. Its not a racing machine its just a tow vehicle doesnt have to go anywhere fast just i know i have problems when I have a 99 std cab super duty on the back on a 3 axle trailer and it takes me 3 miles to get to 45mph and could barely stay running at 50 on flat state highway road.
I refuse to pay through the nose locally when i can buy online for much cheaper. I mean both the new and reman injectors come with a year warrenty just the remans are alot cheaper so i figured i would go that way. The only thing i was looking for and couldnt find was who remans pensacola injectors. Anyone know? If not ill just call them monday and find out

They reman all of their stuff. man the price has sure changed though, i remember seeing 129 for a set of new. Guess the shortage of delphis is causing problems all over the place.
