6.9 swap ?
Ok. So would I have to take the lift pump off to run it this way? I would assume that EGTs are going to be a bit higher since its flowing more fuel to the IP on top of what I already have it turned up to, which is only 1/6 of a turn. I'm just trying to understand and learn here.

Would you happen to have a part number on that pressure gauge?

Its ok and I did but you can leave it on there just run the lines to the adjuster. And it would be a little higher but you can do it to factory setting or get close and I do I will take a look at it tonight bud
Another thing I thought about was electrical and the OBD-II system that would be on the 97 I posted earlier. I know this is a mechanically controlled motor so there's not that much for wiring, but what all is there?
And for the OBD-II system, would I have to worry about since I'm swapping in a mechanical motor? Or is there anything else that needs that system?
Don't you just love those little last second thoughts?
For the sake of argument, lets say that 97 F350 was an auto and I wanted to swap in either my 4 speed or if I found a good deal on a 5 speed(I'm not sure what they're going for) to swap in, could I use the pedals and everything from my truck or would I have to get the stuff from that year range? I wouldn't even consider doing this unless I deemed it absolutely necessary, and I really don't think I'll have a problem finding a manual truck but its a "what if".

i have a 4eod bullet proof trans fully upgraded already in my pickup. i am considering swapping the motor to a 6.9l. would my trans work or do i need a adapter? the motor comes with a trans but i dont know the condition or the type.
