1994 Ford F350 7.3 IDI with auto Need Help
 

My 19947.3 IDI with turbo has a miss in it. I have replaced fuel injectors, lift pump, lifters, and put a good used fuel injector pump on it. It is still missing at low ideal but driving down highway never misses. What is there left to do? Not only is my truck missing but coming home one day from work my tach stopped working which resulted in my overdrive to stop working. Does anyone know what might have caused that and how to fix it? I have looked at all fuses and they show to be good. Is there something on the transmission that might got unplugged or needs to be replaced? What might I be missing on this? It has got me puzzled to no end. HELP

as far as the tach goes, it sounds like the tach sensor went out (dealer only part) the miss sounds like fuel injector but you say u replaced the injectors....not sure how to help with that..

i have a miss at idle as well and my tach is messed up.....i can't figure out what the miss is either.....:argh:

I've recently changed out all the injectors in my 7.3idi with brand new ones and it ran great for a week then started missing real bad I took out the injectors and had them pressure tested and it turned out that 3 were bad one wasn't shooting a mist jus a stream and the other three would jus push the fuel out the return hole on the injector so that could be yout problem. It's reasonably cheap to get em tested but it's cheaper if you take them all out your self will save u on them charging u the labor.
