oil pressure
how can you tell if one of the oil pumps are goin out?
You only have one oil pump. The only thing you can really do to check is get a mechanical oil pressure guage and hook it up. There is still the possibility of increased/worn bearing tolerances creating a lack of oil pressure as oil pumps dont usually fail.

thatnks for the help. but when my truck is runnin it kinda sounds like the ip and timing gears arent gettin oil or something but im not 100% sure on if that is what im hearing or my clutch rattling
The IP is lubricated by the fuel, no motor oil is present. Remove your fuel filter and fill it with ATF or Diesel Kleen, see if that makes the noise go away.
ill do that when i replace the fuel filter with a complete replacement from wix thank god father-n-law works at oriellys as a manager
Nice, I work there too but I'm not a manager.
yeah i got to replace fuel filter cause im tired of it rattling apart from the road i live on
Wix has the one piece replacement filter that eliminates the need for the bottom cap, but it has a hole for the water sensor built into it.
yeah thats the one im goin to get
