drivers side tail light goes out when tail light is on and brake is applied.Turn signal brake and parking light goes out when parking lights are on and brake is applied.dont know where to start.:argh::argh:

I think I would check your grounds sounds like poss. feedback through other power circuit

What year is your truck, does it have the twist in or plug in stlye bulbs?

85 will have twist in.

After you check your grounds,if they look good replace the headlight switch. I know it sounds irrelevant but it fixed mine on all my trucks

BEEN TOLD THE STEEERIN COLUM IS PRONE FOR HAVING A WIRE BREAK THERE WILL TEAR THAT APART TOO HAVE NO BRAKE LIGHTS NO HAZARDS BUT HAVE REVERSE NO RUNNING THOUGH

Check the ignition switch might not be fully engaging.
