think my truck is defueling
if my truck sits over night it takes three or four attemps to start before she even acts like she is gettin fuel, i know i need to replace glow plugs on her. would a return line kit fix problem? and what is a good power steering pump to use

injector's injector pump, or lift pump

i got the same problem with mine i think it might be a injector pump. is there any way to test some of this stuff before i go blow 500 on a new ip pump? or god knows what else might it be?:humm:

If the truck runs fine when it's going, then I doubt it's an IP problem. Air intrusion and bad glow plugs are the most typical causes of hard cold starting. Check your return lines and hose connections for leakage, make sure your fuel filter is still tight. If you know the plugs are bad then change them out for some motorcraft plugs.

well i know i got to replace the gp's and think airmight be gettin in through my filter not to sure but i know there isnt any fuel anywhere else on the motor

I know that when I had 2 dead glow plugs, it could take 2-3 tries to get my truck started.
