Two very nice trucks from different ends of the spectrum :rocking:

Three very nice trucks.

I really like the square stacks...nice idea and quite original

I saw someone this year at the EXTRAVAGANZA that had stacks towards the center with the mitre cuts facing out towards the sides. It looked good and was very original

Am I to understand that you started with a 2WD and turned it into a 4WD? Everyone I mentioned that idea to acted like I was retarded. How much of a PITA was it?

DieselCrawler 02-13-2010 08:52 AM

yea, started 2wd, made 4x4. i have doen 3 of these swaps now. latest one took 2 days, isnt to bad.

Anyone else? Im thinkin about stealin your square stack idea Crawler, im just not sure if my truck would pull it off.

DieselCrawler 02-13-2010 05:35 PM

hardest part was going from 4 inch round to 4x4 square. used a 4id to 3.5 od adapter, squeezed 3.5 side into a squareish shape and filled in the gaps with mig. they are 4x4 square tubing 1/4 inch thick.

Holy shit! That's kinda heavy!
