As the name says I'm a newbee so factor that in...

I bought this rollback and it was running good but now seems to have lost some power and started white smoke. Shop replaced some fuel lines on right side that said were loose. Took it on a run and was better but still not back up to where it was. Been searching and now waiting on a shop service manual due next week. Can't afford to keep in the shop so I'm gonna have to learn "how to" myself.

Bought this for use as a farm truck and moving tractors around etc but need to get some more power in it. Seem some YT videos about crap in fuel filter screens in the tanks but is there a better place to start looking? Test drove a different truck before this that had good power and when I get my big tractor up on it I need the umph...

Also seems the firewall is bending when clutching, what's the simplest way to strengthen the firewall. Shop said clutch pedal needs a new bushing. Shop replaced fuel filter connection that was leaking too. All helpful advice appreciated, thanks...

I'm still learning but what's the easiest way to tell my engine type? Waiting on a service manual so until then it's a wild guess. I am wondering what I got...
