Fuel shut down solenoid in IP :argh:

That's likely. If you crack an injector line an 1/8 turn to a 1/4 and crank, do you get fuel spraying out the top, around the line? Confirm there is power to the IP shut down solenoid on the top. Its two wires, I think, and closest to the radiator.

The fuel shut off switch only works if I run power to it from the battery I have checked all fuses the glow plug controller has power to it all so I am guessing it is a relay somewhere

Sounds like the Ignition is bad possibly ... ( not sure if there is a realy ? ) .. :humm:

Get some connector cleaner and make sure the plug is clean take a little sand paper to the male end might be just a dirty connector. your ignition switch (Not key way) is down on the column and had a rod that goes down that moves the connector inside of it to the different contact points. Mine always go out in the start position and I wind up using a jumper wire from the solenoid. Did you check the big 20 Amp fuse under the hood? That runs the shut off valve check and see if you are getting current there. Since the IP is mechanical there is no need for a relay as the current just opens and close the valve no heavy draw.

I am picking up a new ignition switch module tomorrow morning I think its the problem I have checked all fuses and cleaned and greased all the connection I can get to.
