high rev-no power when turbo psi rises
So when im driving on the highway and i mash the throttle and my turbo psi raises above 7 or so my rpm revs out real quick with no gain in speed. a gradual gain in turbo psi and speed will not affect in this way, is it my clutch? what can i do? :argh: maybe i can take a video showing my guages.

sounds like its slipping .... yes clutch ... get it checked out

Thanks 4x4... No other problems besides that. Could be a stock clutch... I've got an electric fuel pump and turned up my ip and timed it accordingly. Also running a banks turbo with 3.5 inch downpipe straight piped to a 6 inch stack. Think it's too much on a old stock clutch when I get up in the higher hp? Only happens in 5th gear

yeah .... sounds like its time for a clutch .... :argh:

definitely seems to be your clutch on its way out. Usually if your in 3rd gear going down the road, if you get on the go pedal aggresivelly and the trucks revs high but builds up speed slower than the RPMs are showing, then it's your clutch. There are other ways to identify
