dually rear-end question
ok folks, for years i have been told that a dually rear end is 7/9 inches wider than a regular 3/4 -1ton truck , pick-up not cab chassis. Here,s what i have a 1993 ccdrw 1 ton . i can get a 1999 f250 4x4 cc srw pick-up. i just measured the rear -end from brake mounting flange, and both rear-ends are within a 1/4 inche of each other. could someone please explain this? rusty

ive heard that the axles are same width but the drums are different and that is were the difference is. but to be honest i cant be 100% on that but something to think about
