egr delete

Default egr delete

Hi guys just a short question, What is an egr delete and what's the benefit in doing so? Also is their any long turm harm to the 5.9 engine?? Thanks for any help..

if your asking bout it for your 06 it does not have one. cummins didnt put an egr on any of the 5.9s

if its bout 07 newer dodge, 04 newer chevy or 03 newer fords, then the erg=exhaust gas recirculation. it takes exhaust, cools it, and puts it in the intake.

deleting the egr is the first thing id do on any newer truck.

X2!!! That and the DPF... Unfortunately it voids the warranty, and is illegal though
