Let us know how it goes. I've really been interested in how good it works for a measly 200 bucks. Sounds like the best best buy on the whole truck:tu:

I got er installed this morning, I think. :humm: :D

Anyway, when I hit a low spot in the road, it doesn't jerk the steering wheel one way or the other anymore. Steering is a tad tighter, little more responsive. My tie rods are a little wore, and my steering box, the outer pitman arm bearing is out (makes a popping noise). So this will help limp it along until I get the box changed out. Be doing that when I get my tie rods and steering linkage upgraded.

So in other words, with what I got going on with my slightly wore front end, it made some improvement.

Not exactly, They tie the frame rails together right under the steering gear as well as support the steering gear from the bottom. They eliminate frame flex and keep the steering gear from torquing the frame.

I installed one on mine last fall,it helped some but if you have points of play in the steering system it will still wander some.I had to modify the "bracket alittle because of my plow mounts. Icalled the company they were very receptive to my ideas for people with plow mounts/brackets. I feel it is a great upgrade/idea to support the pitnam shaft externaly, but this summer I will bite the big one & buy a new sterring box.:hellox:
