This will help but as chadcycle said if other parts are bad it will still wander. Bad tie rods, gearbox, and trac bar will cause it to wander!

Ran out of town yesterday, bucking a side wind. Didn't have to turn the wheel as much into the wind.

More or less a support for the steering gearbox
They tie the frame rails together right under the steering gear as well as support the steering gear from the bottom. They eliminate frame flex and keep the steering gear from torquing the frame.

I got one to prevent future wear/damage to my steering box and frame. My components are tight, so there wasn't really any improvement in the ride, but it gives me piece of mind. And looks cool.

would they help with the crazy shake?? My truck has done the shaking thing going down the road twice now both times when i hit some pretty uneven pavement.

Check your track bar, they have a reputation for wearing out and causing "death wobble". While your down there, it'd be a good idea to check your tierod ends,ball joints, etc.
