98.5 cab on a 95

im looking for a new cab and considering this swap. the one i found has a incomplete dash and no seats so will my interior in my 95 including the column and dash and everything swap over? i know the harness will be a bit different but anything else ill run into

If I am remembering correctly it should be a fairly straight forward swap. Swapping entire wiring harness out of your old cab would probably be easier than trying to mix and match.

Don't try and make the new dash harness match up with the old truck wiring...it's a nightmare! (Ask me how I know, lol)
Easiest thing to do would be to swap the cab, strip it bare, and swap your whole interior over to the new cab. If you don't do this, you can make the instrument cluster fit, with some modifications, the way mine is isn't pretty, but it works, and then the only other major difference you're going to have is that the hvac controls in the 12v the temperature runs off of a cable, while the 24vs had an electrical control. You'll need to swap the hvac panel out, and use the one out of the 24 valve, if you try and keep the newer dash in the truck. The seats and all will be same, except for the maybe the back seat...that might be a bit different, but it should still work with some minor modification.

98.5 may still have the cable operated temp control. Another thing I ran into was the electric release selonoid on the seatbelts a 12v switched lead will make them work.
