Anyone know what the shop rate would be for a engine swap in my 2006 Ram 3500?

the dodge garage here in central pa the labor rate is 75 an hour so take that by about 10 and thats probly a under estimate

I swear I must live in the most expensive part of the country, I call the local Dodge dealer and they said just to swap motors with nothing else added would be about 1,990.

Sounds like a legal issue to me
 

Where are you located? I checked your sign in, but didn't notice it posted. $100 hour is probable. I'd say depending on your state you should check into lemon laws and auto laws in the state, the attorney general's office is suppose to represent you. Talk to local legal aid people as well. You might want to consider an attorney.

You have not given much to go on, but did you pay cash for this pig? If not contact your lender and let them know what is going on. If it is a Credit Union you may get some help. Just one man's cheap opinion.
