Wheel Hopping
I'm sure most of ya experienced it. You hit a pothole, a crappy filled pothole, or an uneven bridge/road surface, and one or the other front wheels start to bounce. It's close to death wobble, but not as dangerous, but just as annoying. Anyway, it's gonna be about $800 to fix ($550 parts $250 labor). Another $70 for the front end alignment. So if I spent another $700, I can have the entire front end done. :argh:

Forget the not being dangerous part, I ran her out of town and back, with a bridge in between. Hit the edge of the concrete, and I darn near had to stop the truck to get the truck to stop hopping. Dog about ate the dash also. :ouch:

I've never seen something like that. What makes it do that? that sounds nothing like death wobble that I've experienced.

It's a pretty serious concern and using better products like moog it will help prevent it from happening again. I think you could get a better deal, we charge about 1300-1500 for the complete job including alignment. But that's this area.
