killer dowel pin years?

What years of cummins does the killer dowel pin effect?

1998 and older have to be done and 1998.5 up to as new as 2002 have been found to be defective.

What he said.

88 or 89 (whenever the first Cummins came out) all the way up to 2002.

89 was the first year for the cummins in a dodge

I have a 99 with 206000 and has a raised case so no need for the fix.

What's the raised case? I thought the KDP affected all CTD?:humm:

Just because you have a 99 doesnt guarantee that you have the updated case.

They updated the case after they discovered the problem. But its unclear when they went to the new case - most indications say they used the old cases until they didnt have anymore and then went to the new case. I have heard of an 02 getting hit by the KDP - which by then, your would think it would have the updated case.
