EGR and Turbo Question!

Can someone explain the technical details of why the whole egr system clogs up turbos more so than removing the EGR system. I've been told several times that this system is ruining turbos but if you delete it its fine. Why? What makes the EGR system clog a turbo but streight exhaust does not.

Egr= exhaust gas recirculation valve. whenin place it does just as said. it deposits it into the intake horn to burn threw again. now with that said. "should be black soot coming out of your tail pipe" is now going back into you motor and threw your turbo. once u unplug or block off or delete said EGR system that can no longer happen with in the system. thus saving your turbo from the adverse effects of the soot coming back threw.

doesnt that go through the turbo anyway... doesnt all exhaust go through the turbo anyway? I can understand adverse affects on the engine for having preburnt gases into the intake horn but the turbo would have it anyway right?
