Procomps? My brother put a set on his '06, they lasted 13,000 miles. I'm pretty fond of Cooper tires, though I currently have Toyo M-T's. The toyos are holding up well- 17k on them now, and the tread is still in good shape. If you run mud terrains, get them siped. They'll last longer, and they're much better in the snow and rain.

what is sniped?

Siping tires is essentially putting a series of slices across the tread. Most tire shops know of the procedure. It allows for cooler temperatures of the tire. I think the blade of the siping machine only cuts about 3/16". It isn't a good idea for rock-crawlers...they tend to rip up the tread more. My truck regularly pulls a 13000 lb. trailer-sometimes through snow and over icy roads, the traction is great, and the tires are wearing a lot slower than my non-siped tires did. Seeing as they gigged me for $1700 for a set of 35" Toyos, I'll do whatever I can to increase their longevity. As for the Hancook tires-They are made in China, I won't have anything on my rig that is made in China!:moon:

I'm real happy with my Dick Cepek Fun Country II's. I have 44k on them so far-should be good for another 10-15k. Great in rain and snow.

bfg atko's. 1st set on my Dodge lasted 62k, 2nd set has 40k and counting with well over 50% tread left.
