a/c lines
ok guys here is an odd one for you. when i pulled the engine in my truck 2 months ago i decided to cut the a/c lines off to get the engine out:argh:. if i remember corectly arent they just aluminum lines? could they be flaired and use copper pipe:humm:
secound thought on this. the line behind the battery cab be made of 5/8 copper tubing with compression couplers only problem would be the little port on the top of the line next to the radiator to charge it. what could be an option
there did the original one go?
trash:argh::argh::argh:
maybe the autoparts store carries the part of the line you will need
no called them today. i called a radiator shop today and they are wondering if the orfice is in the line or the radiator looking thing. if its not in the line i will have no problem making one out of copper tubing
junk yard time
even if its in the line you can still cut it out and plumb it in the line
i called around to every junk yard and aparently cummins trucks never make it to junk yards
isnt the ac fitting the same on like 99% of vehicles?
the one you put the cans of freeon in? |
