paint?
ive been painting all my engines in the past few years with dupli-color 500* engine enamal. i have painted all my cummins components from valve covers to oil pan with the same stuff. when i get my block back this week im doing it the same way. my question is will the 500* dupli-color work on the head/ exhaust ports. i know my pyro is in my exhaust manifold and i hit 1200 evry so often. what should i use to paint the head with or can i use the same stuff to match the block?

seems like the engine enamel would be fine, if your blocks gets to 500* on the outside thats some big heat

duplicolor also makes a high heat paint with ceramic that can withstand 1200* in 6 colors
