Thumbs up opinions/comments on NEW loops

Here are some pics of the installed loops for the 2nd gens with the two piece drive shafts from HD. I finalized the design, but im always interested in making a better product for you guys. Let me know what you think.
I know its overkill but it is HD Fab after all.... But is it too much? [IMG][/IMG]

More insert designs will be available soon....

Thanks again Displacedtexan for the use of your truck!

That looks awesome! Overkill yes but it will contain any sort of failure very effectively, Nice work as always! How much does it weigh? Anything for the 3rd gen?

Well like I said.. these were the first design and there will be just a few changes to lighten them up. I just put it on a digital scale and it was 27.2lbs. It wont get much lighter.... but it is a front and rear loop combined after all. Im sure I can make a super light weight one out of 1in if somebody was really wanting a feather weight set. Thanks for the nice comments guys, all the info that I get goes towards making a better product for you.

Thanks,
Aaron/HD Fab

I meant overkill in a good way! In this application there is absolutely no problems with being over built! 27lbs isn't bad imo unless you drag racing the truck.... Any plans on a 3rd gen version?

dont worry.... I knew what you were sayin. I already make a set for the 3ed gens, but the shipping is a beiotch and I am thinking about making up a set for the 3ed gens like the ones in the pictures for that reason (and so far everybody loves this design). After seeing the carnage from me breaking pinion shafts 3 weeks in a row causes , it made me rethink the way drive shaft loops should be made.

Have you checked out the loops for the front of the 3ed gens yet????

Just looked at it, another stout product. How does that one mount up? Prices for a 6sd quad cab short box.
