yeah thats good with the temp getting down so low its good ya got the anti freeze in there

ok whats the best anit-freeze to run i mean i want the best. my brother sells service pro complete yellow concentrate antifreeze for $12.99 a gallon or we have dello anti-freeze at work in bulk, we run it in all our peterbilt superdumps and our kenwoth lowboys

The best thing to run is waterless coolant called Evans Cool. Like most good things - its not cheap.


You want Heavy Duty antifreeze for diesels as there are some special additives. Cummins carries it ans sell it as Zerex. I believe they have another brand for the larger engines.

Youd never have to change it again. Its a lifetime coolant I believe.

ya ill pass for now till after chrismas then ill start buying two gallons at a time till i get 12

Get an oil pan heater....some of the early Cummins oil pans have a plug already tapped in and that ZeroStart people have some good units. Warm oil is good to have on those cold nights - and it heats the whole engine. Sweet!

Holy thread resurrection Batman

A pan heater will heat the oil but the water in the radiator and heater core won't get heat.

I hope that he has this taken care of by now
