Exhaust Brake

will a pacbrake exhaust brake for a 98.5 cummins and up fit on my 94 12v?

Dr. Evil 09-16-2008 09:31 PM

It will fit no problem but will it work?

Uncle Bubba 09-16-2008 09:40 PM

I don't pretend to know anything about the 12V Motors but as I understand it, isn't the only real difference the fuel delivery system. Other then that they are essentially the same motor I do believe.

Dr. Evil 09-16-2008 09:43 PM

Uh no....the 24V has a different ECM with many more sensors. Much more going on computer wise.

Heres the application guide: http://www.pacbrake.com/uploads/Dodge.pdf

Theres little point asking us here - I doubt anyone can answer this with any degree of certainly. Give the Pacbrake tech department a call and ask the experts.

When you open up the chart go to the top of the page and increase the magnification, you can increase the page size by up to 6400 %. :U:
