A/C Shaft Seal
Hey Glenn little band O brothers here. I've hunted through Alldata cause I wasn't sure what you were talkin about here and still came up empty. Can you give us some more info on what your doin and what the problem is.
Oh sorry about that.
I am talking about the air condotioner compressor shaft seal.
Its leaks freon and won't cool, I put some of that stop leak freon in but didn't help.
Is it easyer or cheaper to replace the compressor or fix it?????
Thanks

If The Clutch Assembly Is Not Pulled Properly You'll Destroy The Compressor Worse That What You Started With.
But, If Your Feeling Daring - There Is Rebuild Kits Available To Rebuild Most Compressors. Your Better Off Doing A Bench Rebuild - Just Remember To Vaccum Down The System And It Never Hurts To Replace The Drier When You Remove The Refrigerant In The System. R134a Self Contains The Lubricant But There Is Specific Parts To Lube On The Compressors Moving Parts
