Body swap?
 

Forgive me if I am posting in the wrong area, however I am looking for some advice on an odd idea. I have a beautiful 2001 Ram 2500 24v cummins BUT I would like to be unique. I've seen many cummins swaps into chevy frames, however I would like to keep everything mopar EXCEPT the body. I have a 2000 Silverado and I much prefer its body. Does anyone off hand know the wheelbases, cab/bed width of the 2? would it be at all possible to cab swap em? (drop silverado cab/bed onto cummins frame?) My silverado is only a half ton, and I have done a lot to the suspension and drivetrain/underbody of my cummins so I am trying to avoid cummins swapping the silverado if possible. Besides that I have my doubts about the strength of a half tons frame. I searched for a while on the internet and couldnt find any type of info whatsoever about this swap. Any input is greatly appreciated.

edit: cummins is "3 door" standard box, silverado is also "3 door" standard box
