Compound turbos... Primary turbine housing question for my application.
Hi y'all,
I have been reading a lot over the past couple years here and am taking my time to get this build right. My question comes as to which turbine housing on my primary turbo will be best, and where to get it if I need to change what I have. I will be running a HE351cw stock with a spring controlled wastegate secondary, with a S475 primary; It currently has the 1.32 T6 housing on it with the 96/88 turbine wheel. Will I be better off with the 1.32 housing or the 1.10 housing? Motor specs 91.5 12 valve Std. Bore and stroke Fully component balanced engine to less than 1 gram Hamilton 182/214 Cam 1.45" Hamilton tappets Hamilton 135# Bee Hive Springs Smith Bros, Rods 6x.013 VCO Bosch injectors VE Pump- THD fuel pin Bosch 3800RPM trimmed Spring M&H Timing Spacer Standard dia. fuel Lines Upgraded to 2nd gen fuel lift pump with 15psi spring NV4500 Transmission This will be going into a 1967 C10 (2wd) pickup that will weigh 4600lbs with a 240 lb driver. Rear axle ratio 3.07 with a 30.5" tall tire. Primary use is daily driver however it will be pulling a boat on a bi weekly basis, and occasionally loads up to 15k for short distances up to 70 miles through mild hills of southern WI. Any help or suggestions here would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. If you need more info please ask. |
