Power distribution center its the main fuse block under the hood

That dont sound right to me. Your PDC might be faulty. Try cleaning all contacts/ connections in the PDC. Just tossing it out there.

your battery cables may be getting old and coroded. also take a look at your headlight switch they are problematic on second gens. check every ground on every light and every other main ground. maybe you should get one of those battery diconects like you see on race cars so you dont have to charge your battery every day. I wouldnt sell the truck just cause you dont like working with wires now is the time to learn and you will be proud of yourself when you figure it out. Never just assume what the prolem is when troble shooting wires you just want to work your way through the mess logically until you isolate the problem.:c:

Yep. what he said. This is just one of those Pains in the ass that life throws at you. Now go forth and conquer, my son.........:rocking:

alright i will check the headlight switch but do you think that could cause the problems i am seeing? and i am thinking of putting one of those disconects on until i can figure out the problem... i also just replaced the battrery cable ends.
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- does anyone think it could be the starter contacts because it used to blow the 40 amp ignition fuse everytime i would turn the key to start it? and i recently read burnt starter contacts would cause this |
