*HELP/ Please answer this question*
I have a 2011 Dodge 1500 and a 2011 Dodge 3500.... The tires that are on the 1500 are P275/60R17 and the tires on the cummins are LT265/70R17...im buying new all terrian tires for both in the spring but right now i need snow tires. I cant afford snow tires for both and would rather them on the 1500 for its fully loaded with everthing in it for road trips which im planning up north. But i am wondering if i can some how get a tire that will fit.both trucks (different rims of course) and save money then i can just swap till spring?.
Any suggestions? I.need help with this one please. :argh::argh: |
I run 265 70 17 on both, my 3500 and wifes 1500 4x4, not even 1/2 inch diff in height. E range all the way, that way I got 4 spares come on!

Yea you could run the heavy ply on both but you don't wanna run the P's on your 1 ton. :c:

I agree with tiremann9669. Go with the LT(light truck) and with the 70 series. It's a thinner tire, but it will cut through snow better. The P (passenger) tire will not handle well on your 1 ton.

What they said

70 is NOT the width it's the aspect ratio 265 is the cross section width in mm's :c:
