Replacement Power/Heated Towing Mirror Question.
G'morning everyone. I am at work right now and someone just came over and told me they hit my passanger side mirror on my truck. So the question of the day is. Does anyone know if you can just replace just the glass on the heated/power towing mirror? Or will it need te whole motor assembly? Or a whole new mirror? Thanks in advance.

lol JK , yeah a new mirror altogether Um yeah, I knew you were full of it before I read the bottem half since I put the tow mirrors on myself in a stealthy trade a a used car lot that a friend manages. Oh well I guess the chick will be looking at a bill of like $200 new since the dismantlers are more expensive than new since they want to sell them as a pair....Thanks guys! |
They will only sell then in pairs ? That Sucks
|
that is the only way a dealer will sell them too.....

Online they sell them as singles. $180ish + shipping.
The dismantlers and dealerships only want to sell them as pairs. Doesn't really matter, I save the chicks @ss somewhat and called a glass/mirror replacment shop around where I work and they have my mirror (glass only) and it should be in tomorrow. Only $108.22 w/o the convex. Not that it matters, it isn't coming out of my pocket. At least the chick at work that plowed my mirror was upfront and honest about it and did seem to really feel bad about it. |
