no there is no difference what so ever i have the chamber and my budy has the y-pipe and there is no difference. you can change the sound difference buy the size of the down pipe and weather you have straight or flex pipe

Can you send me the demensions of that box? Youd think there would be a sound difference.

nope no sound difference at all but it is 6X6 suare tubing and it is 60" long with two 5"pipe on the top and one on the bottom. also were you put the inlet on the bottom put a "v" on the top so the exhaust doesnt pownd the top it burnerd a hole through mine in about 3 months

I was thinking about makeing it like 4'' high and 5'' wide with 4'' inlet and exit. did you buy the box like that or weld it up your self?

94cummins12v 03-16-2008 03:36 PM

welded it myself bout the steel from a steel plant

What ga did you use? Im thinking of doing it out of stainless too then makeing a heat shield of some sort so I can still have the dirt bikes in there.

I did mine for $300 bucks about the same set up. I used a 5" pipe with 2 elbows in sted of a steel box.
