ok guys kinda going to give you guys a rundown of things your going to need to do to get this going bare with me I have never done this before
a few things your going to need for this type of swap t4 mainifold turbo to a t3
5.9 exhaust manifold
5.9 exhaust elbow
2 plugs for the block and coolant line
a T3 manifold gasket
a 3/4 heater hose for the oil return line extention (thanks bthanks worked great) will be a very tight fit
2 bolts for the turbo in case your turbo doesnt come with any
one other person at least this isnt really a one person job the turboes are pretty heavy
I know I am forgetting something so you guys are welcome to tell me what it is

We had to plug the the coolant lines for the old vgt turbo got mine from wally at fte diesel one in the coolant tube seen here on the fire wall and the other in the side of the block
Attachment 48391
Also you need to unplug and remove the oil line from the turbo to the oil filter housing
Attachment 48392
here you can see the plug in the coolant line up against the firewall
Attachment 48393
Attachment 48394
in these pics you can see the coolant line bracket bolt we had to remove these in order to have enough room to get the turbo out
Attachment 48395
here is a side by side
Attachment 48396
block after manifold is removed
Attachment 48397
manifold side by side view
Attachment 48398
yeah this gasket wont work so we had to make one works great thus far
Attachment 48399
5.9 manifold installed
Attachment 48400
side view of the truck as you can see we removed the inner fender well for easier access also removed the batt box for more room
Attachment 48401
you can see the 5.9 manifold has two studs in where the 6.7 has one so another words if your turbo doesnt have bolts with you will need them I happened to have some laying around that worked
