STEERING ISSUES
My 93 w 250 has serious slop in the steering and it does not want to turn at low speeds. could all this be caused by the pump? what steering issues are common on these trucks?

Probably the the steering coupler
Steering Coupler Rebuild I would just do the Borgeson shaft upgrade though Borgeson Shaft Upgrade |
Thats great info! Thanks, I will check that out asap! I like the sounds of the up grade. Seems a little easier too.

I just found a joint that fit on the spiles on the box and then got a u-joint and welded it together. No slop at all!

also check to make sure that the steering box isnt loose or something broken at the mounting points, also make sure your front crossmember isnt loose.....my front crossmember was loose and it caused a slight wander, after it was fixed it was great....
