grease im with you on that one electrical tape does the job...my bhaf mount is the stock airbox trimmed up, left maybe the bottom 1/3 of the filter box so i can use the bolt that goes to the fender well to hold it there and trimmed the front and back off so it kinda cradles the filter...works perfect

I guess I could get a piece of tubing that fit into the ID of the filter opening(what it looks like it was designed for) and weld that to another piece of tubing that properly fit inside the OEM turbo hose but...the clamp over e-tape worked pretty good...unless it comes loose and sucks the tape into the compressor...:argh:

If you get a hose clamp instead of the factory clamp it will work. The factory clamp is just a hair to big! Tape works too though... :D

i posted wong earlier i meant to say i did this on my 90 model, my 93 model dosent have the big long stud that sticks through the centers like my 90 model, so i couldnt do this mod at home until i find a stud style filter mount.....

I had to zip tie the filter to the fender, also; even the taped and clamped rattled loose, caught it right away though so no crap ran through the compressor.

hah, any of your guys have family from WV? i moved here like 4 er 5 years ago and west virginians have an odd mechanical ability to use next to nothing to make something work... even if it is for 5 mins to run it up the road... i've seen duct tape used on the exhaust to hold it and seal it....

haha, no but I do know that the green military duct tape WILL hold and seal a radiator hose under pressure on a chevy truck!

I'm caught in a strange niche working on high dollar turbine aircraft...that are crop spraying, ag machines. you know weird stuff gets done in ag to get through another day...
