All the draw straws from Vulcan are kinda a universal fit, they come long and you cut them down to the leangth you need.

Something like this would work well for your pump strainer:

WIX Filters : Filter Look-Up

Can you give us some suggestions for sourcing the pump and regulator? I would really appreciate it!

Does the pressure regulator return line have to be a separate line to the tank? Could it be T'd into the existing return line? This is on a 04.5
Thanks

if its on an 04.5 it should probably go into the CR forum. 5.9 Liter CR Dodge Cummins 03-07 - Diesel Bombers

youll probably get better results over there

on your 04.5 you might not need the regulater anyway.

I believe you want to keep pressure under 20 psi...... So all of us would need a regulator as this pump can make around 70 psi.....

What about this for a strainer before the pump: FleetGuard FS1000 = Wix 33406

I don't like those 120 mesh metal filters as you can see a lot of crud through them. This filter will stop anything that could hurt the Walbro and it will also separate water real well. If you get these on sale they will run you about $15!! I've got mine installed on the draw straw just waiting for me to get the Walbro in there!! (Soon I hope!) :choochoo:

Oh, and if need be; it isn't too hard to make your own draw straw from local parts..... Let me know if you need any help with it!

Sorry, I think I gave the wrong number... After looking at the filter above, type in FS1212 in Wix' search and check that one out. I think that is what I used. (Or will be using soon. . .)
