Let's see the farm trucks?

I love the work truck look! Let's see what you got, destroyed dually hips and ranch hands and headache racks and mud and all! No show trucks unless their dirty!

Nice Dodge!

I'll play. Here's my farm truck. She's a 97 F-350, 7.3, 5 spd, 4x4, PTO winch.
It was a Pike Electric truck in a former life. The previous owner swapped out the flatbed for a pickup bed and threw some (purplish?) burgandy paint on it to cover up the yellow on the cab and white on the bed. She's not destroyed, but shes still just a farm truck.

Hydraulic resevoir, toolbox, and L-shaped transfer tank, gooseneck hitch and small toolbox at the back, tailgate removed using the "unhitch gooseneck & drive-off" method (also performed by previous owner).

Western Welding, Cordell Oklahoma. Base price is around 5500 (give or take a couple hundred). That is with hydraulic bale spikes. His new ones look a little different, headache rack, and back end. He has a website.:tu::tu:

Here's my truck, just put new tires and a new clutch in it last week (If I wasn't broke before, I am now)

Here is a pic I took last night as I hauled an old 5 ton water tanker home... I laid coal for 100 miles home

You're right, it's pretending to work! 50 bales on a trailer better not be considered work for any truck... I just came 200 miles with 110x90lbs.. my only concern was that the trailer brakes are fubared and I could do 60MPH up any hill, but I was usually slowing to 50 for the steeper downhills

The ride back home will be easy, it has my Rx7 on the trailer for the way back, only 2200 lbs

It was 70... But that weak kneed SOB has a 5.4:argh::ouch:
Here you go, it doesn't look to bad in this one until you realize it's on a hill, the ass is about 1-1 1/2" off the bumpstops...

yeah, the truck looks a bit smaller in the second pic... I bet the old beater can still do more work :) My dad has an old '80 chev 4x4 with a 454 on propane, 12' deck... it's seen it's days though

Farm trucks are small four-wheel trucks or transporters artisan-made (small rural and peri-urban workshops) in developing countries of Asia and elsewhere that are classified as an intermediate means of transport. They usually consist of simple rail-type frames, with axles, brakes and steering assemblies cobbled from new or second-hand vehicular spare parts and are generally powered by small single-cylinder diesel and petrol engines. i really like these trucks .

Ltk 08-22-2012 11:20 AM

what does that have to do with anything?

i have seen no where that anybody asked what a farm truck was :nope:

Well sorry asian boy but as you can see this aint asia!!! its AMERICA!!! I have a Suzuki Carry that could fit your definition of Farm Truck but I cant fit in the damn thing, and I can carry it in the bed of my pick up.. Farm Trucks here are TRUCKS!! not some golf cart with a three banger... with pistons the size of my valves...

Dodge ram is no doubt a very heavy duty truck and it delivers the very best in every climate and i said it because of the overall performance and even in rough areas this beast never stops providing and delivering the best out so i was planning to buy but recently i had cleared the leasing of the BMW7 series.......

Ltk 09-05-2012 07:50 PM

i wouldve picked the dodge if i were you! :jump:

I tried posting pics and it didn't work, so you'll have to settle with the links

Dalesteyn 06-08-2013 03:14 AM

I think in the first pic the climber should be the puller..but your truck did a fabulous job pulling that mammoth..i guess the truck is loaded with an staggering torque out there...thanks for sharing.
