Bedrails
How many of you out there have bedrails, and do you like them or dislike them? I am looking at getting some but I am not for sure.
have had them and liked them but once they are there they are there for good and they do keep your bed from getting trashed when hauling things:humm:

if u dont have a bed liner already you should look into line x..i have it and i love it..you can also get it over the bed rails
I think he is talking about bed rails you know the bars that go on top of your bed rails. not bedliners....anyways i had em on my old 05 but took em off cause i wanted a toolbox and when hauling a lot of stuff in the bed they seemed to get in the way. also had some buddies tie stuff to them and them are not made for secureing loads so they ended up breaking. my opinion is looks wise they look good but for a work truck no. just my .02
yes i know and they do help protect the bed rails and they can get tore up and once you have them on there for a while they get stuff under them and rub your paint off and cause rust marks and wear spots up and down the rail so i dont know if its worth it or not:humm:

Well I plan on rhino lining the bed and rails before i would put the rails on them. How did u guys secure your rails, just bolt them to the bed?
I used 3"angle iron on my truck, angle towards the inside, but it is a work truck and far from a show truck, built the angle iron into my headache rack to protect my back window and mount my revolving light and backup/work lights on,even mounted some brackets to the inside to mount my fuel tank too:tu:

Does anyone have pictures of thier bedrails?
