Would all the bombers near pa and in pa want to all get together for a wild night at the buck this year for some diesel sled pulls, tug awars and drags. Let me know i will post when i see one coming up this spring or summer. Maybe some of us will run. Even if not we can have some fun.:U:

Well at least nitelord is next door to my work lol. I know he will go and i dont have to do to much to let him know. GEES ANYONE ELSE.

I will be there for every pull with a rather large group from DTR. There is usually about 20+ of us that go and at least 10-15 trucks. We go to watch TJ (getblown5.9) pull :U: and drink a few barleypops :c:

What color is his truck. I saw a badass red quad cab pull the sled pretty much right out of the park this past summer. O and that poor guy with the ford that had the tug of war hitch smashed through his tailgate lol

Blue 02 Ouad Cab Long Bed with a 7" single miter now (had dual 6" miters last season). Did you notice that guy had a new tailgate the wrong color before he pulled? One of the guys that I know (Nick Moyer) gave him the tailgate off of his tow rig since he had a spare sitting in the shed, talk about a good deed.

Well that was a nice deed for sure. Were You there that night that good looking ford smashed his tailgate. It was funny then all the guys started coming out with tailgates off lol. And the end of the tug. That stake body ford must of had alot of weight on it to pull that dodge like that.

I would like to try a pull one time but not sure on what gear to be in and 4 low i guess. And i need to run my truck every day to work.:argh:

Last Summer was their first go around with the new Summer series they were having.That series included show-n-shine,dirt drags,tug-o-war and sled pulling.I knew this show meant doing a double as I had committed to another show earlier.I took off work Friday and spent 12 hours detailing and cleaning making sure my ride was ready for both deals.Left the morning show and drove straight to the "Buck" for the nightcap show.All I signed in for was show-n-shine and was parked out back and began to make sure the truck was spotless.I still do not know why I did that as it didn't matter.

They drew a nice assortment of show-n-shine rigs with most guys cleaning their when they arrived.When it came time for judging,they-the Buck Management,came down on their golf cart parked out front and saidd I want that one,that one and that one.They never even got off their lazy asses to look at the trucks all they did was look for the two dots on the windshield(one meant show only-two meant show and competition).There were 5 of us who didn't even get consideration and when I asked about it I was told they would not use a "show" only rig.At 180,000 miles its hardly a show only rig and gets its share of abuse daily but it gets little respect for how hard it is for me to maintain it here on PA Roads.

I answered them politely and just decided I would not go back as I am not a puller and never will be.The heck of it was there was a lifted Ford,pearl flames and 22.5's which was the nicest paint I had seen in a long time there and he went home with me empty handed.I do not mind loosing in a judged competition to a better prepared truck,that happens,but when your beat by the judges who are biased from the start,I stay away...........Andy

hammer sorry you feel that way. I am new to the diesel world. But I enjoyed the pulls and the tug of wars and the drags there. And to everyone I will keep an eye on things and let everyone know. The Buck makes up rules as they go and if there man don't win they change the rules.
I pulled there a few times and the night I had first place locked up they gave the last puller 4 tries to beet me and he did on the 4th try. :booo:

already got the 10th on the calander. I will be convoyin up with the boys from dtr.And i might pull (first time)

their tech staff is a joke with enforcing the rules, but when it comes to actually running/putting on a show they do a good job, and their pay out is more than twice any other pull in this area...so i will be back, even if it means I have to put a stock bumper on my truck to pull a sled.

seems for the local ford boys they all have a target on my back and like to talk smack about me, but none of them have ever won a pull, and they don't pull in my class so i dunno what they are worried about me for.

but we'll see what happens this year.

When the pan drops, the bullsh!t stops.

just bumping this to top, 2 weeks till.

i might go but i will not know until that friday...i really tempted to hook up to the sled...
