Truck Stolen In Edmonton.
 

Hey gang,
If you all could keep an eye out for my truck, it got stolen on Sat. night/Sun morning from the Royal Inn West Edmonton. ON MY WEDDING NIGHT!!:madd:

its the truck in my sig. '02 2500 quad cab 4x4 sport, silver with line-x'ed rocker panels, a dual-scoop fiberglass hood and a grille guard (factory style). If you happen to see it whizzing by you or parked anywhere suspicious please give the EPS a call. Thanks

but on a serious note i hope ya get it found. if i was close enough to edmonton id keep a close eye out for it. id even drive around looking for it for ya.

however normally the vehicles goes far away fast knowing itll be looked for in that area

cuz in my area of edm theres alot of trucks that are close to that desciption

Lynda's Toyota got stolen from out front here and
it was found twenty six kms away in good shape.
I guess someone was just way too cool to take a
transit bus and wanted a ride home.

Hope you get er back in one piece. How much fuel did you have in it? most of the time they drive it till its empty and leave it. :ouch:

Jenns probably right - my cousins 02 CTD was stolen and they were using it to move drugs to Alberta from Vancouver.

Thanks for your help and congrats and well-wishes everyone, there has been no word so far. I added a pic to my album. It's an older pic but all that's different is that it doesn't have a visor anymore and the rockers are line-x'ed. there is a 'TR' (toomey racing) sticker on the top middle of the rear window and an amsoil sticker on the bottom driver's side and a MBRP sticker on the bottom passenger's side. Along with the Oilers plate and the hood, it should be easy enough to recognize. The plate # is VCA 229
it had 7/8 of a tank of fuel so it could be anywhere in a 700km radius.

Well, they found it. Wednesday morning, out by Enoch... (cough!)... Now I just have to get over there and see what damage they did, (and how bad it smells). Good news is they caught the guys. I guess they had a trailer hooked to it and the box was full of stripped copper wire and a bunch of wheels. Sounds like they were starting a theft business with it.

well good that you got it back, every silver dodge that went by here i watched for ya.
hope they never wrecked it .. dam theives,,eh.. I had a ford stolen outta my driveway in Pemberton,, never was the same after that. they drove the piss outta it, where they found it , there was rubber marks all up and down the road, just so invasive...stole the sterio , cds tools...my wallet :ph:.....sometimes its better they dont find it!!
oh yea i only had basic insurance on it so it wasnt covered for theft.:ouch: life and learn.!

So I went and looked at it. WOW, there was more crap inside the cab than I think I have in my entire house. They must have smoked about 4 packs of smokes and filled the ashtray and the cupholders with butts and ashes. All of the stuff that I had in it is gone and they replaced it with garbage apparently. Thankfully all my registration and insurance papers were still there. There was even an old pre-war antique cabinet radio laying across the back seat!?! I looked under the hood and the turbo looks like it's been cooked. it's like a brownish color and the air cleaner is all sucked in on itself. even the clamp that holds the intake hose on is blued, telling of how hot it must of gotten. the adrenaline was turned up to 10 (of course) and there are scratches and dings from front to back and the grille guard is pushed in to the bumper. hopefully its going to cost a lot to fix and they'll just write it off.

Dang Acer I am so sorry to hear about your truck :( I hope your insurance company treats you right at least!

Sounds like they were "tweekers" them druggies strip wires like nobodies business... it is amazing how fast they are at it too. I think you should have to pass a drug test before you can recycle!

im glade they found your truck, but sorry they ragged the shit out of it.

So sorry to hear that they trashed it on ya. It was a nice looking rig.

Well, they wrote it off. $20,500.00 ... not too bad. But now I have some truck shopping to do.

I have a buddy whos 2001 Dodge Diesel was stolen from the rig site and ended up at enoch, and guess what, it was written off. Looks like they drove it "Dukes Of Hazard" style and bent the frame up trying to jump and aproach.

no I didn't take any pics, It really didn't look too bad, but they cut me a check anyway
