Here is the information we got from Eric with DHRA.

In order to be elible to win DHRA money you will need to join DHRA.

*From our understanding you can Race, run Time Trials and Grudge Matches inbetween the DHRA rounds just like in Houston. (*still checking)

Gates open at 10:00am
Racers $40
Spectators $10

DHRA membership $50
Endorsement for championship $150

Payout for DHRA members:

ET Bracket - $500, 250, 100, 100
QD - $500, 250, 100, 100
Pro Street - $2000, 1000, 500, 500
Pro Stock/Top Diesel - $1,500, 1,200, 700, 700
Total Purse - $10,000

I recently got two free VIP tickets to a DHRA event but on the tickets it dosent have a date or anything. Do you know if they are for this?

I sure dont know. You might want to contact someone at DHRA about it.

According to Texas Motorplex they could be "spectator" tickets to the DHRA Race April 5th. They have a $10 value only good for spectator entry. They are giving them out at some of the 4 wheel parts stores and were handing them out at Autorama.

Thank you. Yes they are spectator tickets, I emailed someone at DHRA and he said they get spectators in but do not pay for you if you are racing.

So who all is going to this? I plan on going for a little bit. Maybe some of Houstonians can drive up to Ennis this weekend, it is only about a 2.3 hour drive.

I'm supposed to be at the Bandera Rumble On The River bike rally but I might change my mind. Of course, I could have to go back to Mexico again at the end of the week.:argh:
