93 chevrolet k 3500 cummins swap advice

I bought a K 3500 4x4 with 6.5 diesel in it a while back. The starter was broke off the block, i knew this when i bought it and planned on trying to fix it. Long story short that block was junk and bought another block in hopes to get it going again, it was junk too. So now that i have a pure hatred towards 6.5 diesels, ive been researching putting an older mechanical injection 12 valve cummins in it. I have a few questions about the swap that i was hoping someone could answer before i really dive into this project.

The truck is a 93 k3500 4x4 with an NV4500. Previously had a 6.5 diesel in it.
Also, i am really wanting this to reamin as easy as possible and fairly low budget.

Questions.

1. Can i use the Stock tranny with the dodge bellhousing and retain the Chevy input shaft or willl it have to be swapped to the dodge input shaft?

2. Upon using the Stock transmission, i would like to keep the tranny and transfer case in stock position so i dont have to mess with shortening and lengthening driveshafts and then get in to a custom crossmember. Question is, can it be done without hanging the motor out the front of the truck. Basically radiator clearance, motor mount issues or anything along those lines.

3. Is there any place to buy cheap motor mounts for this conversion? Ive looked around and they seem to be really expensive. I was thinkin somewhere around 100 bucks. If not i will fab up my own, i fab several of my own parts as it is.

4. On a scale of 1-10, and 10 being the hardest, how hard would this project be rated?

5. How much would this project cost assuming i already have the cummins and using what i already have. Just an estimated guess would suffice.

Those are the main qustions i had, im sure there will be more to come but those are the ones i would like to know before diving in head first. Any extra advice would be much appreciated. Tips, tricks or any issues you guys have encountered, feel free to post about it. And one more thing is, this will be a daily driver and i pull a car trailer every once in a while. It will not be a pulling truck so im not looking to make tons and tons of power.

Probably head on over to 4BTSWAPS.COM and ask there.

Lots of info available on forcing a Cummins into a GMT400 over there....
