01 Chevy cummins conversion
My dad has an 01 Chevy with a Duramax in it. He bought the truck new back in 01 and had the injectors replaced under factory warranty 4 different times and has replaced the injectors out of pocket once.
The injectors started doing the same crap as before a week or so ago and it seems like the injection pump is shot as well.
This is going to be a pretty expensive fix if he sticks with the Duramax, and replacing injectors on a regular basis is not a good option and we're both pretty fed up with the truck.
The ford cummins conversion is pretty popular, but i can't find anything about a chevy cummins conversion.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Otherwise I think hes going to take this truck out in the field and use it for target practice..

You will need motor mounts a adapter plate and controler for the trans but all of that Destroked - THE Cummins Conversion Company : Home Page sells.

What generation Cummins do you want? 12v, 24v, CR........
If you're going for cheapest, the 12v will be the least expensive, to both buy and install.
