does anyone know if there is anyway to force air from the tank and run it though the motor to force out fuel to the injectors with out hurting anything on the motor on a 1983 chevy k20 4x4 6.2 diesel

no this cant be done however ya can flush the fuel up to the injectors by cracking the line

yah like taking a air compressor and running the air into the fuel tank and don’t open the peep cock to try and force the fuel to the fuel pump to try and push all of the air out of the injectors and the reason i ask is because i keep getting bubbles out of the secondary filter or i will close the line go to the injectors and do the same can get it to run with the lines closed for a min then quite go back to the secondary filter again but remove the filter all you can hear is air when to start to unscrew it but the filter is full of fuel is this common on the 6.2

your not going to force air through the injectors, you can put air to the tank to get it to flow to the lift pump, then to the filter head, but the last thing you want to do is try to force air through your injector pump. it sounds to me like you may have a problem with the lift pump. your fuel system isnt generating air within itself, it most likely has a leak on the suction side of the pump and the pump is sucking in air. if the 6.2 has a hand primer on the lift pump, remove the output hose from the pump and see if you can get a good fuel flow out of the lift pump by hand pumping it. if you dont have a good supply of fuel to the filter theres no point in going further into the fuel system.
