95 12 valve into 92 chevy
hello guys im buildin a 92 chevy pickup its a extended cab four wheel drive rust free got the engine from my dad some of the stuff its been pulled apart got ceramic coated pistons its balenced all arp studs including main and head injector pump is got lasor cut delivory valves mack rack plug zero plate noe afc 4k governer springs motor has 60# pound valve springs hx40 turbo soon to be little turbo for twins with a cat c15 turbothats about all for now trying to figure out a tranny but i also got a dana 44 axle and a 14 bolt rear gonna get swapped in to divorced transfer case just like to see wat everyone thought o ya and on the .120 injector lines and 370 marine injectors
|
your going to want a dana 60 up front. TRUST ME on that one. the weight of the cummins will destroy that 44. i would like to see how you set up for twins. there is no way in the world i could twin my chevy you will notice when you get it all together how tight everything is. i can barely even get a 3" downpipe in there with an hx40.
you are going to have to straight axle it for sure because the transfer case wont clear the torsion bars and your oil pan will hit the front diff so your going to need lift on it. just make sure you got alot of money in the bank. these things aint cheap to do |
well its helpfull because i have a body lift to lol so that will help a lil i can get a dana 60 for 400 bucks think that would be a better idea

finnally got some more pictures just started working on it again been super cold and im only 17 so always in school super gay but ya trying to get stuff done no job either so ya lol went and got my dana 60 yesterday to pretty sweet

looks go so far. hopefully you dont have the problems i did with the intercooler tube hitting the hydroboost unit. you still plan on doing twins? i want twins on mine but there isnt the slightest chance in the world i have room for them without removing all the ac and whatnot
|
lol would love to but u know how tyhat goes not sure on the money right now and i think im gonna leave my vacum brakes on with the vacuum pump unless u guys think thats not a good idea ? :humm: dont know why it wouldnt be o ya and mine doesnt have no ac or anything super nice way easier lol nothing in the way for some big a** turbos lol
|
ya you cant beat that. i have everything working factory for mine so i have a ton of stuff in my way. i wanted the hyrdroboost because IMO they pump up the heavy duty brakes much better than vacuum will and i need that pump with the discs in the rear. the only downside is if i ever lose p/s ill lose my power brakes too
|
lol i have a disk brake 14 bolt rear and a dana 60 king pin with disk brakes for the front
